Book Groups
Bookies by the Dozen
This was an offshoot of a filled up daytime book club and was/is limited to l2 members, for purposes of full participation. We meet the third Wednesday of each month -- September-June (with a break in December). Coffee is 9:30; book discussion is
l0:00-11:30. Members take turns as hostess (providing coffee/tea and light refreshments), as well as facilitator (leading discussion of the book). We currently have limited openings.

Daytime Book Group
Daytime Book Group meets monthly Sept – June at 11:30 AM the third Wednesday of the month at the home of one of the members. (At times which are agreed upon and announced in the newsletter we meet at 11:00 AM for a potluck prior to the meeting.) Books are chosen from those recommended by the members and each month a specific book is discussed. The discussion is led by a member, who has volunteered to facilitate the discussion. The hostess provide drinks and “dessert” and members are welcome to bring their own lunch, if they want. At present we have 21 members (probably more than is best for hostesses to manage) and are not accepting new members at this time. As openings occur, we will place a notice in the newsletter and let members know by word of mouth as well.

The Other Book Group
We meet on the third Wednesday of every month in a member’s home. Our books are chosen for the year in June. The group is open. Information about the book we are reading and where we are meeting is published in the “Welcome Mat” every month.
