Genealogy
The Genealogy Group welcomes all who are interested in learning and sharing research skills to find our ancestors. We are at all levels of competency, so everyone should feel comfortable. We meet in my home most of the time for lessons, but do take field trips to the Family History Center and the National Archives in DC. Classes, meet primarily after the first of the year because of travels and the holidays. However, there will be a class for beginners in October or November if there is interest.

Great Decisions I
We are a small group of about 8 women who meet once a month (excluding summer and December) to discuss foreign policy issues. Our discussions are based on an article we read from a current Foreign Policy Association journal entitled “Great Decisions”. We meet on the Fourth Tuesday of the month from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at a member’s home. We are currently seeking several new members.

Great Decisions II
This is a second group similar to Great Decisions I that discusses foreign policy issues. They meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and are currently full with 15 members.

Writer's Critique
Writers' Critique Group meets on the First and Third Mondays each month for 2 hours from 10 a.m. to noon. The object of the group is to share what we are writing with the group for thoughtful, kind suggestions and encouragement to keep writing. Anyone interested in writing is welcome. The group is limited to eight so that each one would have the opportunity to share her work; however, we are only two now so there is plenty of room.
