Community Service
The charity of choice for PANC is Stepping Stones Shelter located in Rockville. The mission of the shelter is to “heal homelessness, step by step. Every month there will be a small notice in the newsletter listing their needs and wishes for the month. You may bring your donation to the monthly meeting or directly to Stepping Stones at a convenient time for you. In addition there will be an auction in April to raise money for the shelter and we will be looking for many volunteers to help in this endeavor.
Potomac Day
PANC participates in the Potomac Day festival this year held on October 28 sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. We will have a booth near Potomac Pizza. A group of us will be available all day to hand out information regarding our club, to answer questions and to generally spread the word about the possibilities our club has to offer. We also participate in a parade that goes from Giant, around the corner onto Falls Road towards Vie de France. It is a very fun day for everyone.
